Job summary

ThyssenKrupp Materials NA, Inc. is seeking a Quality Systems Coordinator to drive continuous improvement of the QMS in a warehouse environment. You will support audits, investigate quality issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products and services.

The role requires minimum 2 years in quality systems within manufacturing, strong problem-solving skills, and ISO 9001/AS9100 experience. Excellent communication and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (post-secondary education preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in quality systems, quality assurance, or a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100/AS9120 quality standards.
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
• Experience managing customer quality concerns, complaints, or returns.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Conduct internal quality audits and assist with customer, registrar, and compliance audits.
• Serve as a primary contact for customer quality concerns, complaints, and returns.
• Investigate customer and vendor returns, perform root cause analysis, and communicate findings and resolutions.
• Lead and support corrective and preventive action (CAPA) initiatives.
• Track and document quality issues, audit results, and corrective actions.
• Support Lean and continuous improvement projects.
• Maintain visual management boards and quality documentation.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve product quality, processes, and customer satisfaction.
• Promote a culture of quality, safety, and operational excellence.
• Work safely in a warehouse environment while adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
