Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials, LLC is seeking a quality inspector to work on the warehouse floor in Auburn, WA. You will inspect raw materials and finished products using gauges and instruments, document findings, and segregate non-conforming items.

The role requires attention to detail, basic math, and the ability to read and write English. Pre-employment drug testing is required as part of a safety-sensitive workplace and TK’s hiring process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and write English and perform basic math problems.
• Ability to learn correct use of basic measurement instruments (tape measure, scales, gauges).
• Basic computer knowledge to complete data entry.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect raw materials and products and measure with gauges, scales, or instruments as required.
• Segregate non-conforming parts or material.
• Complete required documentation for work performed and enter data into databases.
• Perform final inspection to reconcile outgoing shipments.
• Identify causes of non-conformance if required.
• Work on the warehouse floor near heavy machinery.
