Job summary

Torrey Holistics in New Berlin, Wisconsin, is seeking a Quality Systems & Continuous Improvement Manager to own the plant Quality Management System and elevate performance to world-class standards.

You will guide a skilled team, drive supplier and internal quality improvements, and ensure compliance with automotive and industry requirements while delivering measurable, sustainable results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years in manufacturing quality with leadership experience.
  • Strong command of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 QMS.
  • Experience with APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, 8D, 5 Why, Lean methods.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and maintain the plant Quality Management System; ensure adherence to customer and industry standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve quality, increase efficiency, and lower cost.
  • Manage customer, supplier, and internal quality issues using robust problem solving and corrective actions.
  • Steer quality planning, including APQP deliverables and new product launch readiness.
  • Oversee supplier quality performance and conduct/coordinate audit activities.
  • Build, mentor, and develop the quality team; nurture a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to meet plant and customer quality objectives.

By mid-day, you're mentoring a quality engineer on PFMEA linkage to control plans and partnering with production to close out a 5 Why on scrap reduction.
