Job summary

Calgon Carbon Corporation, a Kuraray Company, seeks a Corporate Quality Systems & Certifications Manager to lead the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company’s Quality Management System and third-party certification programs across U.S. operations.

You will guide cross-functional teams to ensure audit readiness and certification integrity. The role requires managing ISO 9001 and other certifications (NSF, Kosher, Halal) while partnering with Operations, Regulatory,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field (Quality Management, Engineering, Chemistry, Biological Sciences, or similar)
• Master’s degree preferred
• 5-7 years in QMS/ISO 9001
• 7-10 years in Quality, Quality Systems, QA, Regulatory Compliance, or related areas
• Experience planning and supporting internal, external, customer, and certification audits
• Experience managing third-party certification programs (NSF, Kosher, Halal, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Lead certification activities for NSF, Kosher, Halal, and other product/facility certifications
• Serve as primary liaison with certification bodies and auditors
• Lead and develop direct reports with goals and development plans
• Develop and maintain corporate policies, procedures and QMS documentation
• Partner with site quality teams to ensure compliant implementation
• Track certification status, audit performance and corrective actions
• Coordinate internal/external/customer audits and resolve findings
• Own ISO 9001 QMS including procedures and document control
• Monitor regulatory and certification changes and implement updates
• Provide training on quality system and certification requirements
