Job summary

Charter Next Generation, Inc. is seeking a Quality Systems Analyst to support QA processes in Lexington, OH.

The role focuses on CoA creation and database management, maintaining product records, and enabling efficient quality testing and reporting across multiple systems. Ideal candidates will have an undergraduate degree in quality, business, or a related field, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with quality management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain product records and specifications in PLM
  • Create and process new items in Quality Test Database

The Role

From supporting internal teams to developing next-gen materials, our professional roles span strategy, innovation, and purpose. At CNG, you’ll do work that matters—and own it all.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, Business hours

What You'll Do

Certificate of Analysis (CoA) & Database Management

  • Create, complete, review, and send Certificate of Analysis (CoA)
  • Manage and optimize the CoA database system from creation to specification updates
  • Maintain product records and specifications in the product lifecycle management system
  • Create and process new items in the Quality Test Database, including item/specification changes
  • Configure new tests, projects, data entry configurations, and charts in the Quality Test Database to support testing and reporting requirements
Quality Systems & Documentation
  • Create controlled quality work instructions, training materials, and procedures aligned with Quality Support Group standards
  • Enter new document requests and change requests in the CQ change management system
  • Ensure compliance with all BRC standards and CNG policies and procedures
  • Continuously review specifications, systems, and processes to identify improvement and efficiency opportunities
Equipment Management
  • Assist with regularly scheduled equipment verifications and maintenance
  • Assist with scheduling and tracking yearly equipment calibrations
  • Update and maintain comprehensive equipment records as needed
  • Perform light to moderate equipment repair and troubleshooting as needed
  • Research and evaluate new equipment opportunities to support quality objectives
  • Order and maintain lab equipment, spares, and office supplies for all quality labs
  • Train individuals and groups on changing and new policies within the Quality Support Group scope
  • Promptly and consistently communicate with quality management, team members, other CNG departments, and external customers via verbal communication, email, Teams, and other professional channels
  • Onboard new employees into quality data management systems and ensure proper documentation
  • Gain and maintain a comprehensive understanding of products and customer requirements to support quality initiatives
Operational Support & Special Projects
  • Assist with collecting and sending microbiological test samples and complete required documentation
  • Assist with creation and management of microbiological test schedules
  • Assist with creation and management of quality retention pallet and roll labels and documentation
  • Execute various assigned projects, including investigative lab testing and lab studies
  • Complete all assigned training in the learning management system

What You’ll Bring

Education & Experience
  • Undergraduate degree in quality, business, management, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience
Technical Proficiency
  • Excellent computer proficiency and demonstrated ability to quickly learn new software systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to master specialized quality management software, including but not limited to DTR, PLM, CQ, Hypervu, SharePoint, Infinity, and customer portals
  • InfinityQS administration experience is preferred
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and quality control mindset
  • Strong analytical and critical problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable communicating with internal teams, cross-functional departments, and external customers via email, Teams, and other professional channels
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments
