Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a Quality System Support Tech for the 2nd or 3rd shift in Lexington, VA. The role ensures non-conforming products do not proceed in production and supports quality control throughout manufacturing.

Responsibilities include routine inspections, calibrations, documentation, and collaboration with production to uphold quality standards. Requires HS diploma or GED; 1 year in manufacturing plus ability to read drawings and use micrometers/calipers.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree in related field preferred.
Minimum of 1 year experience in manufacturing or related field.
Ability to read technical drawings.
Ability to use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Knowledge of quality control processes; proficient MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
Excellent verbal and written communication; able to work independently and in a team.

Position Description

The Quality System Support Technician will help to ensure that non-conforming products do not continue through the production process and are not distributed to customers.

Key Responsibilities

· Conduct routine quality inspections throughout production, including in-process and final inspections.

· Perform equipment calibrations and perform workstation audits.

· Create and maintain quality control documents and reports

· Identify and troubleshoot quality issues and recommend solutions

· Collaborate with production team to ensure quality standards are met

· Other tasks assigned by management

Required Education & Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required, associate degree in related field preferred.

Minimum of 1 year experience working within the Manufacturing industry or related experience.

Ability to read technical drawings

Ability to use a variety of precision measuring tools, including micrometers and calipers

Attention to detail

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

· Knowledge of quality control process preferred.

· Good computer skills in usage of MS Office Suite - Microsoft word / Excel / PowerPoint

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Physical Requirements

· Frequent walking and standing.

· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.

· Ability to work in industrial environments with varying temperatures, noise levels, and production conditions.
