Job summary

LiquidStack is seeking a Quality Support Technician to champion quality on the production floor. You will lead inspections, audits, and documentation to ensure ISO 9001:2015 compliance while partnering with Engineering/R&D on NPI and quality improvements.

The role emphasizes rapid problem solving, data-driven metrics, and hands-on growth in a high-performance data center cooling environment. You will mentor junior technicians and drive corrective actions to reduce defects, improve throughput,

Qualifications

Experience with precision measurement equipment and product testing.
Experience driving CAPA and systemic quality improvements.
ISO 9001:2015 knowledge is required; ASQ/Internal Auditor training preferred.
Strong communication skills and influence without authority.
Understanding of technical drawings, BoM, and specifications.
Quality data analysis and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

Serve as SME for inspection methods, metrology, calibration, and test systems.
Lead internal audits and support audit readiness.
Ensure documentation and traceability within the QMS.
Develop and monitor quality metrics and dashboards; communicate trends and risks.
Create and maintain SOPs, control plans, inspection criteria, and checklists.
Partner with Engineering/R&D for NPI — first article inspections, validation, and manufacturability improvements.
Champion continuous improvement to reduce scrap and increase throughput.
Drive quality readiness for higher-volume production and line startup.
Provide guidance on Cp/Cpk, reliability data, and design feedback.
Influence standardization and scalability in evolving environments.
Promote proactive quality with layered process audits (LPAs).
Support troubleshooting during engineering builds and design iterations.
Train and mentor cross-functional operators.
Provide credible quality leadership during issue resolution on the floor.
