Job summary

Qualifications

• Serve as Quality member on MRB, IPT, and corrective action teams.
• Monitor and report supplier performance metrics and drive corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement with suppliers to enhance quality and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Interface with engineering disciplines and with customers and suppliers on quality-related issues.
• Serve as a Quality member on MRB, IPT, and corrective action teams.
• Monitor, track, and report supplier performance metrics (e.g., quality, delivery responsiveness), and drive corrective actions for underperforming suppliers.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to enhance quality performance, reduce defects, and improve on-time delivery.
• Design or specify inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment.
• Perform necessary tests with equipment and effectively document test results.
• Formulate or assist in the preparation, review, and approval of quality documents such as plans, policies, procedures, and reports.
• Participate in and/or perform audits and compile reports.
