Job summary

Hyve Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. You will ensure product and process quality through meticulous inspection, data recording, and adherence to standards, contributing to customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Responsibilities include visual and dimensional inspections, using calipers, micrometers, and gauges, documenting findings, and collaborating with production and engineering to prevent defects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing or electronics environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Demonstrated experience with various measurement tools and techniques
• Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.
• Basic understanding of quality control principles and methodologies (e.g., AQL, SPC).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for documentation and reporting.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

• Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records, including daily logs, defect reports, and test results.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to investigate root causes of quality issues and implement preventive measures.
• Participate in the development and improvement of quality control procedures and inspection criteria.
• Conduct first-article inspections and provide feedback on new product introductions.
• Adhere to all company safety regulations and quality management system requirements.
• Assist in internal and external quality audits as required.
