Job summary

Lake Air Products seeks a 1st Quality Supervisor in Roseville, MN to lead quality initiatives, investigate issues, and drive continuous improvement. You’ll work with manufacturing leaders to uphold high standards and meet cost objectives while maintaining compliance with ITAR considerations where applicable.

Ideal candidates will have a background in metal manufacturing, strong statistical skills, and a proactive approach to quality control.

Qualifications

• Experience with quality management systems and inspection processes.
• Ability to analyze data to set quality and reliability targets.
• Strong problem-solving and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and address customer complaints related to product quality.
• Analyze data and specifications to set quality standards for finished products.
• Develop and implement inspection criteria and procedures for production processes.
• Apply Total Quality Management (TQM) tools to enhance reporting and analytics.
• Collaborate with production teams, suppliers and vendors to ensure quality across parts and processes.
• Review quality issues and provide actionable recommendations for improvements.
• Engage with vendors to ensure material and process quality.
• Manage customer returns and maintain accurate job routings.
• Ensure calibration of inspection, measurement, and testing equipment.
