Job summary

Henpen Corporation in Magnolia, Arkansas seeks a hands-on Quality Supervisor to implement and support QMS for ISO 9001 certification planned for 2026. The role partners with Plant Manager, Corporate Quality Manager and production teams to standardize procedures and drive quality across manufacturing of roll-formed steel components.

The ideal candidate has a BS in engineering, 5+ years in quality supervision in metal manufacturing, and a proven track record with ISO 9001, 8D, FMEA, SPC.

Responsibilities

• Standardize quality procedures, documentation, inspections and reporting structures.
• Support internal and supplier audits and customer quality reviews; track nonconformances.
• Support SPC, capability analysis and root cause analysis to reduce variation.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures for product compliance.
• Inspect and test materials, components and finished products against specifications.
• Document inspection outcomes and maintain records of defects and corrective actions.
• Collaborate across departments to resolve quality concerns and train staff.
• Ensure ISO 9001 readiness and participate in audits.

Job Description

Our client manufactures roll-formed steel products and will implement an ISO 9001 program in 2026.

They need a hands‑on Quality Supervisor to help implement and support quality systems in the plant

The Quality Supervisor is responsible for managing standards and improving quality systems

The Quality Supervisor works closely with the Corporate Quality Manager, Plant Manager, Production, Engineering and Customer Service to ensure consistent and compliant processes.

The Quality Supervisor will work on the implementation and support of the Quality Management System (QMS) to be capable of achieving ISO 9001 certification in 2026.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the Plant Manager to standardize quality procedures, documentation, inspections, testing protocols, corrective action processes, and reporting structures.
• Support internal and supplier audits, customer quality reviews; track, resolve nonconformances.
• Support statistical process control, capability analysis, and root cause analysis techniques to reduce variation and improve product consistency.
• Support PPAP, FAI, CPK, and customer‑specific quality documentation
• Develop and implement quality control procedures and policies for product compliance.
• Inspect and test materials, components, and finished products to verify specifications met
• Document inspection outcomes, maintain records: quality defects, corrective actions and customer complaints.
• Identify and address recurring quality issues, recommend improvements and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with all departments to resolve quality concerns and ensure smooth operations.
• Train, mentor staff, ensuring proper testing procedures and documentation practices.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards, including ISO

Qualifications

• BS degree engineering, Manufacturing or related preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years of quality supervision experience in a manufacturing environment; experience with metal forming, stamping, or fabrication strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience working in an ISO 9001 manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality tools including 8D, FMEA, SPC, Gage R&R, and structured root‑cause investigation.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in quality management software, Microsoft Office, and data analysis tools.

They need a Quality Supervisor for their plant in Magnolia AR to help implement an ISO 9001 QMS program for certification in 2026.

This role reports to the Plant Manager in Magnolia with a dotted line to the Corporate Quality Manager.

The Quality Supervisor should have ISO 9001 experience and ideally been involved in developing and implementing a company‑wide Quality Management System (QMS)ideally from the ground up. Background in the manufacturer of roll‑formed steel is ideal.

This role will work with the line supervisors and operators to consolidate what they do from a quality perspective and lay out and document and the process for completing a successful audit.

Salary 75k – 80k and a discretionary bonus. US citizens only, based government contracts. Prefer local candidates, relocation assistance is available if needed.
