A BS in Materials Science or Engineering is required, with SAP/QC systems experience and ASQ desirability. A structured schedule and potential bonus are noted. Base salary range is $93,000–$106,000 with a possible performance bonus.

Qualifications

• BS in Material Science or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• ASQ certification desirable.
• Experience implementing ISO certifications, PPAP, Process FMEA and Control Plan.
• Familiar with SAP or other QC IT modules.
• Ability to handle frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.
• Effective communication with all levels of personnel; internal and external.
• Maintains professional contacts with domestic and international representatives.
• Demonstrates high self-discipline and ethics to protect company interests.
• Clear oral and written communication; meetings and presentations.
• Production and office environment with desk work and physical tasks in production settings.
• Willingness to travel ~5%.

Responsibilities

• Investigate customer complaints to determine root cause and implement corrective action; provide 8D reports.
• Maintain ISO 9001:2015 certification, SOPs, work instructions and quality records.
• Lead and supervise the quality team, assign tasks, monitor performance.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain to address quality issues.
• Review items for feasibility and potential quality improvements.
• Provide timely reports to management for continuous improvement and cost reduction of quality.
