Job summary

Sazerac, a leader in beverage and alcoholic products, seeks a Quality Supervisor to elevate quality and food safety across BuzzBallz manufacturing operations. You will lead a team of Quality Technicians, ensuring compliance with FDA, TTB, and internal standards while driving continuous improvement and strong customer satisfaction.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years in quality-related roles within manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, food safety, manufacturing, or related operational environments.
• Change management experience with the ability to influence and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
• Strong planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems, data analysis tools, and quality management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Quality Technicians while fostering a culture focused on food safety, quality excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, TTB requirements, and food safety programs.
• Manage quality assurance processes including inspections, audits, product evaluations, corrective actions, and root cause analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce defects, improve process capability, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Support product hold, release, rework, recall, and nonconformance processes while maintaining accurate documentation and records.
• Partner with Operations and cross-functional teams to identify quality risks, implement preventive actions, and improve manufacturing performance.
• Monitor key quality metrics and provide reporting, analysis, and recommendations to leadership.
