Job summary

Carry On Trailer Inc. is seeking a Quality Supervisor to ensure adherence to standard work, verify products meet internal and customer specifications, and drive improvements through audits and data-driven problem solving. The role includes mentoring quality personnel and supporting production lines.

The position emphasizes leadership, hands-on audits, and collaboration with Engineering to resolve quality issues on the shop floor.

Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma is required.
Experience with measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, CMM, etc.
1–2+ years of quality experience in a repetitive manufacturing environment.
Experience troubleshooting issues and performing root cause analysis.
Leadership skills a major plus.

Responsibilities

Follow all OSHA and plant safety rules and lock-out/tag-out.
Develop and document quality activities to sustain high product quality.
Collaborate with Engineering to resolve problems on the line.
Communicate issues and corrective actions clearly in writing and verbally.
Perform product and process audits and maintain 5S standards.
Coach operators to quality standards and mentor junior staff.
Ensure effective hand-offs of quality issues between shifts.
Write detailed Standard Work as needed.
Inspect products in receiving, weld, paint and assembly processes.
Provide leadership and mentorship to inspectors, operators, and plant personnel.
