About Our Group
We are responsible for the Power Plant, Avionics/Electrical and major Structural Composite supply base management to drive accountability, improvements, and quality assurance initiatives.
About This Role
This role was created to support the Electrical and Component supply base to drive more focus on supply chain effectiveness. It’s an opportunity to be involved in an important portion of the aircraft that has considerable impact on the ability to keep the production process flowing. The Supervisor in this role will supervise between 2-4 Supplier Quality Engineers and be responsible for approximately sixty suppliers. A good understanding of electrical components and how they are associated is key in this role. Familiarity with electrical harness assemblies and all requirements (burn testing, certification testing, etc.) associated with these articles, as well as electrical assemblies/sub-assemblies, is preferred.
The position will be based at our Gulfstream Headquarters in Savannah, GA.
Bachelor's Degree in aviation sciences, quality systems or related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 8 years progressive, related technical experience required.
In a team-oriented environment, performs inspection duties and supervises subordinate personnel to ensure quality assurance or inspection activities are maintained in a timely and efficient manner. Supports the quality management system ensuring all aspects of the processes, systems, or delivered articles are manufactured or returned to service and certified in accordance with approved quality system requirements.
