QUALITY SUPERVISOR
DUNCAN, SC (B-SHIFT 7pm-5:45am)



As a member of the Quality Team, the Quality Supervisor will be responsible forensuring world class quality standards to produce quality seats which meet and exceed customer's specifications and expectations.


The Role:


Your work will include, but not be limited to:



*Investigates, determines root cause, and resolves production build problems.


*Resolves manufacturing problems with non-conforming material to ensure supplier quality.


*Builds a good working relationship with the customer and respond immediately to customer concerns/issues.


*Reviews seats returned from the customer to determine cause.


*Provides direction and distribution of work to workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product, or process quality and reliability.


*Interfaces with engineering, manufacturing, customer, or vendors to coordinate and resolve quality-related problems.


*Support production tryouts of new material(s) and provide feedback.


*Resolves supplier concerns.


*Assist with supplier containment functions.


*Maintains the highest level of integrity and ethics in dealing with all suppliers.


*Performs computer work (preparation of reports, memos, audits, documents, graphs, etc.).


*Attends daily huddle board meetings.


*Ensures compliance with OHSA, Human Rights, Employment Standards, and Labor Relations.


*Works safely, reporting hazards and unsafe conditions, and takes all reasonable measures to protect themselves, co-workers, and direct reports.


*Recognizing and understanding the requirements of our internal and external customers and is dedicated to establishing the highest industry standards for quality, value, service & technology.


*Ensures and understands compliance with harassment within the workplace towards others in the organization.


*Monitors and controls the quality of incoming and outgoing material.


*Uses and or wears personal protective equipment that the company requires to be used or worn ensuring a safe work environment.


*Performs any other duties as required in pursuance to the function of this position or as directed.


*Involvement in plant Kaizen events.


*Evaluates process capability together with production and engineering through regular audits on the floor.


Your Qualifications:



*3 to 5 years' experience in the Quality Department preferably within the manufacturing/ automotive industry.


*Experience in ISO/TS, Customer, and Internal Audits.


*Understanding of manufacturing assembly, sequencing, and equipment principles.


*Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement devices.


*Supervisory experience within a unionized environment.


*Engineering background would be an asset.


*Ability to read and interpret component drawings and tolerance callouts.


*Possess knowledge of ISO 14001, OSHA, and TS16949 requirements and compliance.
