Job summary

Asteelflash Fremont is seeking a QA Supervisor to lead quality inspection activities for PCBA and box build manufacturing. The role focuses on developing and maintaining methodologies to ensure products meet IPC and customer reliability standards.

You will supervise QA across assembly processes, perform internal audits, and produce reports using MS Office and Power BI. Candidates should have 5–10 years of related experience and an associate degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 to 10 years of related experience as QA Supervisor of Electronic Assembly House.
• QA Supervisor ensures IPC-A-610, IPC-A-600, J-STD-001, and IPC 7711/7721 standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Supervise QA activities for assembly processes to meet customer quality requirements.
• Dispositions MRB & RMA within fifteen days; determine Use as IS, return to supplier or return to customer.
• Update monthly and yearly yield reports; prepare bar charts and Pareto charts for IQA, MRB, optical inspection, wave solder, scrap, and final QA reports.

Job description

Supervising the Quality Inspection activities in the Asteelflash Fremont PCBA and Box Build plant.

The job function includes developing, monitoring, maintaining, and revising methodologies to ensure products shipped to customers meet the expected quality and reliability requirements.

In this hands-on position, the QA Supervisor Is responsible for all QA aspects of the assembly processes to ensure the highest levels of quality products as required by the customers, as indicated by IPC-A-610, IPC-A-600, Mil Standard IPC-J-STD-001, and as directed by QA manager.

• A thorough understanding of IPC-A-610, IPC-A-600, IPC 7711/7721.
• Experience in ISO 9001, ISO13485, ISO16949 and ISO14001.
• Participate in internal audit and led the team in preparing a report.
• Strong ability in using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Power Business Intelligence (P BI), etc.
• Prepare Bar Charts and Pareto charts for IQA, MRB, Optical Inspection, wave solder, scrap, and final QA reports. All reports fall under QA Supervisor
• Supervise MRB, RMA, and disposition the MRB & RMA within fifteen days.
• Disposition for Use as IS, return to Supplier or Return to Customer.
• Update monthly and yearly yield reports for the above charts and reports. (Test reports are under the testing group and do not fall under the QA Supervisor function).
• Act professional and work with Asteelflash team of diverse backgrounds.
• Highly disciplined, organized, and able to work with minimum supervision while maintaining effective time management.
• Must be flexible to work extended hours based on company needs.
• Be able to perform at the highest level in a fast-paced Electronics Contract Manufacturing environment.

Salary $ 105 - 115 k based on experience
