Job summary

Technipaq is a family-owned manufacturer serving the medical device and pharmaceutical packaging industry since 1984. The Quality Supervisor will oversee production Quality personnel, ensure proper procedures, manage shift staffing, and coordinate training to support ISO 13485 compliance across production and the quality lab.

The role requires strong ISO 13485 knowledge, ERP and SPC software familiarity, and excellent cross-department communication.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years or older and pass pre-employment Reading and Ruler tests.
• 2+ years of QA Lab Supervisor experience in an ISO 13485 environment.
• Flexible packaging industry experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) required.
• Previous ERP experience a plus.
• SPC software experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements in ISO 13485 environment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Works well with other departments to communicate timelines and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production quality personnel and processes; ensure proper procedures and on-time training.
• Coordinate supervision of quality inspection staff.
• Enforce ISO 13845 standards within the production and quality lab environment.
• Back up to Quality Assurance Manager functions when needed.

Shift available:8:00 am to 4:30 pm M-F, with additional hours of 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm or extended hours, once per week, to help 2nd and 3rd shift direct reports.Required Skills:Must be at least 18 years or older and pass our pre-employment Reading and Ruler tests.Associate or Bachelor degree preferred, HS Diploma or equivalent required.Must have 2+ years of QA Lab Supervisor experience in an ISO 13485 environment required.Flexible packaging industry experience is preferred.Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint and Outlook) required.Previous ERP experience is a plus.SPC software experience is required.Strong knowledge of all regulatory requirements in an ISO 13485 environment.Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively communicate and share knowledge with others required.Works well with other departments in communication of timelines, priorities and resolving ambiguous tasks/situations.The Quality Supervisor is responsible for the oversight of production Quality personnel and processes, including: ensuring the proper procedures are in place, managing shift staffing, ensuring adequate training with on time completion, and coordinating the direct supervision of quality inspection personnel. They will act as primary driver for the enforcement of ISO 13845 standards within the production and quality lab environment. This position works under minimal supervision and serves as a backup to some of the Quality Assurance Manager functions.Technipaq is family owned and operated serving the medical device and pharmaceutical packaging industry since 1984.
