The Maryland Developmental Disabilities Administration in partnership with Liberty Healthcare is leading the State of Maryland in pursuit of Person-Centered Excellence Network Accreditation from the Council on Quality and Leadership (CQL).

The goal of achieving accreditation is to enhance person-centered service delivery and improve life outcomes for people living with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

As a Quality Specialist with Liberty Healthcare, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Completing Waiver Basic Assurance Reviews (level of care, case management billing, and service plans)
  2. Analyzing information from reviews and helping to identify and develop quality improvement measures
  3. Generating detailed summary reports with corrective action measures
  4. Collaborating with a wide array of stakeholders

You will regularly use various computer databases – including the State of Maryland Developmental Disabilities Administration Provider Consumer Information System (PCIS2), State of Maryland LTSS system, and Liberty Healthcare’s proprietary database.

You can expect a salary of $55,000, thirty days of paid time off annually, benefits, and other perks.

This is a virtual position which will allow you to work remotely from your home office within Maryland, with the requirement to attend quarterly in-person meetings in Columbia, MD.

You are a good fit for this position if you possess the following:

  • Experience supporting people who are living with developmental disabilities
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and SharePoint
  • Experience gathering and analyzing health information
  • Outstanding written communication skills and the ability to produce well-written reports
  • Maryland residency

You are encouraged to apply if you have previously worked as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), Coordinator of Community Service (CSS), or a role responsible for developing person-centered plans.
