Job summary

Timken in Keene, NH seeks a Night Shift Inspector to verify product conformity, manage traceability, and support Customer Source Inspection activities. You will review drawings and certifications, maintain daily records, and ensure compliance with QA plans. SAP/TeamCenter experience is preferred.

The role starts on the night shift (Mon-Thu 3:00pm-1:00am) with Friday overtime, and offers comprehensive benefits from day one, plus 401(k) and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Manufacturing and assembly processes for quality planning or inspection method development.
• Strong writing and communications skills with attention to detail.
• Extensive PC skills including Microsoft Office.

Schedule: Monday- Thursday 3:00pm-1:00am, Friday overtime day

Pay Range: $24.00-28.00

PURPOSE:

• To verify product conformity to internal and external customer requirements
• To conduct Traceability (different levels as required by the customer) and provide product document control
• To support Customer Source Inspection (Customer Source Delegate and assist Customer Source Inspectors while they source their product)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This individual may generate and/or handle regulated (i.e. hazardous/non-hazardous) waste as part of this job. This must be disposed of in accordance with federal/state regulations.
• Review and interpret drawings, process sheets/routings, operating instructions, and specifications
• Locate and interpret prints, process sheets, specifications, customer PO's, certifications, etc.
• General Traceability - QA 2090, Customer Forms
• Traceability of 2B or 2C (Full Trace Packets)
• Review of First Article Inspections
• Maintain accurate and complete daily records
• Maintain work areas and equipment in neat and orderly manner
• Perform document evaluations and product traceability following established plans to determine conformance to specifications
• Process associated documents as required and specified
• Perform all tasks as assigned accurately with attention to detail per drawings, specifications, or other operational instructions
• Train other associates in safety, quality, inspection, documentation, testing, etc. as required

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Highly knowledgeable in manufacturing and assemblyprocesses for Quality planning or Inspection method development
• Strong understanding of certification process including, reporting, maintenance and records
• Strong writing and communications skills and attention to detail.
• Extensive PC skills to include working capability within Microsoft Office suite
• SAP and Team center proficiency desired
• 1-3 years manufacturing experience preferred
