Job summary

VIVA USA Inc in Houston, TX seeks a Quality Engineer to ensure projects meet contractual and regulatory quality requirements. You will identify gaps in methods and processes and recommend improvements. Communicate with internal teams on data gathering and quality findings, and contribute as an active project team member.

Role includes capturing lessons learned to continually improve execution, with on-site collaboration across EPC project phases and cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with quality experience requirement.
• Experience in Quality, EPC knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to identify process gaps and improve quality.

Responsibilities

• QC setup and support in tendering and execution phases of Engineering Procure Construct.
• Oversee fulfillment of contractual and regulatory requirements to maximise profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Communicate with direct colleagues and business about data gathering and analysis.
• Contribute to project as a team member; 1–3 month goals with observable results.
• Capture lessons learned to continually improve execution processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure projects meet contractual and regulatory quality requirements.
• Identify flaws or gaps in existing methods, procedures, processes, and quality approaches, and recommend improvements.
• Communicate with internal teams and business partners regarding data gathering, analysis, and quality findings.
• Contribute as an active project team member and support project deliverables.
• Capture lessons learned to help continuously improve execution processes.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide QC set-up and support in tendering and execution phases of Engineering Procure Construct. Oversee fulfillment of contractual and regulatory requirements to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction. Capture lessons learned to continually improve execution processes.
• Detects and signals flaws in approaches, methods, procedures and processes and suggests improvements.
• Handles communication with direct colleagues and the business about data gathering and analysis.
• Contributes to project as a team member. Work goals typically take 1-3 month to complete and results are seen immediately or within 1-2 months

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
• OR
• High School Diploma / GED + minimum 4 years of Quality experience
