Job summary

Real Staffing is seeking a Quality Specialist in Fort Myers for a 5-month contract to support day-to-day material management and fill a temporary resource gap in the engineering organization.

The role focuses on material handling, inventory coordination, administrative tracking, and quality-focused activities. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and with a team, across production, testing, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in material handling, inventory control, warehouse operations, manufacturing support, or related field.
  • Experience with inventory management, material tracking, labeling, and documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

  • Locate, identify, and retrieve materials to support operational and engineering needs.
  • Accurately label, sort, organize, and track materials throughout the facility.
  • Record and maintain material movement and inventory data within company systems.
  • Coordinate activities and communicate with other Material Handlers and cross-functional teams.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to material management, inventory tracking, and documentation.
  • Support engineering teams by assisting with investigations and helping identify potential root causes of material-related issues.
  • Ensure materials are properly documented and available to support production, testing, and engineering activities.
  • Utilize Quest and other internal systems to maintain accurate records and support workflow requirements.
  • Follow established quality procedures and promote compliance with company standards.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and assist with additional material handling responsibilities as business needs evolve.

Job Title: Quality Specialist

Duration: 5-Month Contract (Potential Extension)
Shift: First Shift, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quality Specialist to support day-to-day material management operations and provide critical support during a temporary resource gap within the engineering organization. This role will focus on material handling, inventory coordination, administrative tracking, and quality-focused support activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable to changing priorities, and possesses a strong quality mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Locate, identify, and retrieve materials to support operational and engineering needs.
  • Accurately label, sort, organize, and track materials throughout the facility.
  • Record and maintain material movement and inventory data within company systems.
  • Coordinate activities and communicate effectively with other Material Handlers and cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in material handling, inventory control, warehouse operations, manufacturing support, or a related field.
  • Experience with inventory management, material tracking, labeling, and documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Comfortable performing administrative and computer-based tasks.
  • Basic experience working within inventory or tracking software systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with Good Documentation Practices (GDP/GDMP).
  • Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, or technical operations teams.
  • Experience using Quest or similar inventory/material management systems.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be ambulatory and capable of moving throughout the facility for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, move, organize, and transport materials in accordance with company safety guidelines.
  • Frequent walking, standing, bending, and reaching may be required.
