Job summary

Technimark is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure product conformance to validated processes and customer requirements. You will train and assess the competency of inspection personnel, perform start-up, in-process and final inspections, and support manufacturing activities to keep output within spec.

You will review, approve and file Device History Records (DHR), conduct process audits, manage non-conforming material, open internal rejects, document root cause and corrective actions, and

• Experience in quality inspection and training of personnel.
• Ability to perform inspections for non-conforming products.
• Familiarity with Device History Records (DHR) documentation.

Responsibilities

• Train and assess competency of quality inspection personnel to identify non-conforming finished goods.
• Review, approve and file Device History Records (DHR).
• Audit inspections for compliance with internal or customer requirements.
• Segregate, control and disposition of non-conforming product.
• Identify and implement corrective actions and root-cause analyses.
• Maintain production quality records.
• Open internal rejects and coordinate corrective actions.
• Document root cause and corrective actions in the internal reject database.
• Perform start-up, in-process and final inspections.
• Support manufacturing activities as required.

Job description

Ensure plant conformance with validated processes and customer requirements and expectations.

• Train and assess the competency of quality inspection personnel to effectively perform all required inspections to identify non-conforming finished goods


• Performs review, final approval and filing of Device History Records (DHR).


• Audit inspections to ensure they continue to be performed in accordance with internal or customer driven requirements.


• Segregation, control and disposition of non-conforming product.


• Identify, recommend and perform quality training as needed.


• Ensure maintenance and control of production quality records.


• Open and manage internal rejects when nonconforming product is identified.


• Assist production personnel in the investigation of root causes and corrective action of internal rejects.


• Document root cause and corrective actions in the Internal Reject database.


• Maintenance and closure of internal reject reports.


• Performs lot inspections in determined parts.


• Performs part inspection of the initial start-up, in-process and last shot as needed.


• Performs process audits as directed by the Quality Manager.


• Assist in gage R&R and capability studies as needed.


• Cover other quality work area as needed.


• Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.


• Bending or squatting required


• Support manufacturing activities as required


• Perform any other functions or duties as directed by supervisor.
