Job summary

The Dexterra Group, through CMI Management LLC, is seeking a Quality Control & Safety Manager for the Washington, DC client site. You will develop and oversee quality programs and safety plans to ensure compliance with contract requirements.

This on-site role requires English proficiency, strong communication, and a track record of managing QMS and safety for multi-site facilities. OSHA 30-hour or EM 385-1-1 familiarity is preferred.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in preparing and enforcing QMS and Safety programs for a workforce providing facility maintenance services within a multi-site federal facility totaling at least 1.7M square feet.
  • Must be fully conversant in English.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with exceptional customer service skills.
  • Prefer OSHA 30-hour construction safety training or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with EM 385-1-1 requirements.

Responsibilities

  • On-site during the client's hours and available within one hour after hours.
  • Verify and ensure work standards, timeliness, and accuracy of the work performed.
  • Oversee audits, monthly reporting, and contract compliance.
  • Conduct daily safety inspections of work areas, job sites, and crews.
  • Develop corrective actions and preventive measures in a timely manner.
  • Review and validate reports of findings and ensure action is taken.
  • Submit all required Safety Data Sheets and manage Hazard Communication Plan.
