Job summary

HCA Florida JFK Hospital is seeking a PPS Coordinator to support inpatient rehabilitation services. You will provide clinical support to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and ensure accurate IRF assessments and functional status scoring.

The role requires an RN license (FL or compact), BLS/ACLS/PALS, and 1+ year acute care plus 2+ years rehab experience. On-site environment with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current State of Florida Registered RN License, or Recognized Compact Licensure.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification via American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• A minimum of one year acute care hospital RN experience.
• A minimum of two years of experience with rehab patients.

Responsibilities

• The PPS Coordinator promotes high quality, patient-centered care by providing clinical support.
• Promptly and accurately completes the IRF Patient Assessments Instrument.
• Ensures accuracy in the scoring of functional status & reflection of the patients care needs.
• Assists in the ongoing monitoring of identified benchmarks for the Inpatient Rehab population.
• Maintains confidentiality of all patient information.
• Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in caring for Inpatient Rehab patients.

Job Summary and Qualifications
