Job description

DCX-CHOL Enterprises Inc. is a leading source for high-performance interconnect products. We design, engineer, and produce cable assemblies, wiring harnesses, conduit assemblies, custom connectors, wire enclosures, and more!

We are a privately held, American-owned small business composed of five vertically integrated manufacturing and assembly divisions, each with its own history, specialization, and products.

The Teletronic Division of DCX-CHOL Enterprises is seeking an experienced full-time Quality Receiving Inspector with the following qualifications:

The Receiving Inspector is responsible for inspecting mechanical and electromechanical components, piece parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies using precision measuring tools and electronic instruments to verify conformance to customer P.O. requirements, manufacturing drawings, etc.

Key Performance Indicators:
  1. Inspect metal finishes such as CARC Paint, Gold, Zinc, Anodizing, or other finishes according to specifications.
  2. Set up and operate test equipment, including electrical devices and other gauges.
  3. Stamp or approve acceptable work and prepare paperwork for processing.
  4. Identify nonconformance and create paperwork for engineering evaluation using the Non-Conforming Material Review system.
  5. Maintain inspection records and history for fabricated and purchased parts.
  6. Perform in-process and final inspections as workload requires.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Familiar with AS9100 Quality Management System requirements and capable of completing AS9102 first article inspection reports.
  • In-depth knowledge of inspection methods, shop math, and proficiency with mechanical inspection instruments and gauges.
  • Experience with standard inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, thread gauges, V-Blocks, optical comparators, Smart Scope, surface plates, and X-ray fluorescence machines.
  • Proficient in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) based on ANSI Y14.5M.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
Education and Experience:

Two-year college or technical school certificate with at least three years of related experience, or a high school diploma or GED with at least five years of related experience.

Physical Requirements:

Frequent handling, manual dexterity, lifting 5-49 lbs., reaching, standing, stooping, walking, and use of PPE. Must have close vision and depth perception.

  • Knowledge of aerospace plating and processing standards such as anodizing, chem.-film, passivation, chrome, and silver plating.
  • Computer literacy with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.
ITAR Requirements:

Applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, protected individuals under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible for required US Department of State authorizations.
