Quality Professional Darlington Wisconsin (US) Quality & HSE 40+
Some people see Quality as inspections, paperwork, and audits. You know it's so much more than that.
It's asking why.
It's digging into the details.
It's partnering with Operations, Maintenance, and other partners throughout production.
It's helping teams succeed while making sure every product leaving the facility is one you'd proudly put on your own family's table.
At FrieslandCampina, Quality isn't something we inspect into a product, it's something we build into everything we do.
Whether you're an experienced Quality Manager looking to lead a team or a Quality Specialist ready for your next challenge, we're looking for people who are passionate about food safety, continuous improvement, and helping good teams become even better.
No two days in Quality look exactly the same, and that's one of the things our team loves most.
Depending on your experience and the level of the role, you'll help strengthen our food safety and quality systems while partnering with teams across the plant to ensure every product meets the highest standards.
Partnering with Production to ensure safe, consistent, high-quality products.
Supporting or leading food safety and quality programs, including HACCP, SQF, FSMA, BRC, or FSSC requirements.
Reviewing production records, quality documentation, and process data.
Investigating quality concerns and helping identify the root cause.
Leading or supporting corrective actions to prevent issues from happening again.
Preparing for customer, regulatory, and third-party audits.
Coaching production teams on food safety, sanitation, GMPs, and quality best practices.
Monitoring quality trends and identifying opportunities to improve consistency and efficiency.
Supporting supplier quality programs and raw material evaluations.
Participating in cross-functional projects that improve food safety, product quality, and operational performance.
For leadership opportunities, mentoring and developing Quality team members while helping build a strong quality culture across the facility.
We're looking for people who genuinely care about making great products even better.
You enjoy asking questions, solving problems, digging into the \"why,\" and working alongside Operations, not just auditing them.
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
Experience working in Quality, Food Safety, or Quality Systems within food, dairy, beverage, or ingredient manufacturing.
Strong understanding of HACCP, GMPs, food safety programs, and regulatory compliance.
Experience investigating quality concerns and implementing corrective actions.
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Experience in cheese manufacturing, dairy processing, or dairy ingredient production.
Experience supporting or leading SQF, BRC, FSSC 22000, FDA, or customer audits.
Knowledge of dairy microbiology, cheese production, whey processing, fermentation, or milk chemistry.
Experience leading CAPA, Root Cause Analysis, and continuous improvement projects.
Leadership or people development experience (for management opportunities).
Experience using quality metrics and data to drive operational improvements.
The people who are most successful on our Quality team are the ones who believe Quality isn't about saying \"no,\" it's about helping everyone succeed. They:
Build relationships before they build policies.
Love solving problems and finding the root cause.
Stay curious and continue learning.
Use data to guide decisions.
Enjoy coaching others rather than policing them.
Hold themselves and others to a high standard.
Understand that the best Quality cultures are built together.
If that sounds like you, you'll fit right in.
You spend a lot of time at work. We think it should be somewhere you're challenged, supported, and genuinely enjoy coming to every day.
This isn't a role where you'll sit behind a desk waiting for audits.
You'll partner with Production, Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and leadership every day to solve problems, improve processes, and help build a culture where quality is everyone's responsibility.
Whether your goal is becoming a Quality Manager, expanding your technical expertise, or continuing to develop as a food safety professional, we'll give you the opportunity to learn, grow, and make an impact.
$65,000-$135,000 annually based on your experience and education
You'll join a group of people who genuinely enjoy solving problems together, sharing ideas, and celebrating wins. Around here, collaboration isn't just something we talk about, it's how we work.
We build trust through integrity, professionalism, and respect.
We take ownership, stay curious, and continuously improve.
We know our best results happen when great people work together.
