Job summary

Silgan Containers – Kenosha, WI is seeking a Production Quality Associate to support multiple production functions with hands-on cross-training across machine operation, lift truck operation, and quality inspection. This role provides growth opportunities within our manufacturing team.

Starting pay is $25.70 per hour plus shift differential and a bonus opportunity. This full-time position offers excellent benefits and room for advancement in a modern, safety‑driven facility.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Forklift Operator certification.
• Experience operating electric forklifts or other material handling equipment is preferred.
• Manufacturing, warehouse, shipping/receiving, logistics, distribution, or production experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand shipping documents, work instructions, and inventory paperwork.
• Strong attention to safety and quality.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operate electric lift trucks safely throughout the warehouse.
• Perform daily OSHA lift truck inspections and complete required documentation.
• Safely charge and refuel lift trucks and yard trucks.
• Load, unload, move, and stage materials throughout the facility.
• Follow designated forklift traffic lanes and warehouse safety procedures.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
• Operate the palletizer.
• Perform product quality inspections.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Complete shipping and receiving paperwork including Bills of Lading, Shipping Orders, Packing Slips, and Invoices.
• Support warehouse operations and perform other duties as assigned

Available Shifts

2nd Shift

• Monday-Friday
• 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• $0.50/hour shift differential

3rd Shift

• Sunday night-Friday morning
• 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• $1.00/hour shift differential

Continuous Shift

• 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
• 4 days on / 4 days off

What You'll Do

As a Warehouse Operator, Forklift Operator, or Material Handler, you’ll play a vital role in keeping production moving safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities Include
