Job summary

Jamco Products in Illinois seeks a Quality Supervisor to lead the Quality Inspection team, drive adherence to ISO 9001, and partner with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure product quality.

You will oversee first article inspections, in-process audits, and finished product verifications, develop training programs, and investigate quality issues using root cause analysis to prevent recurrence. A strong focus on safety and continuous improvement is required.

Qualifications

• GED or higher; required for position.
• AA or BS degree preferred.
• Quality-related experience is required.
• Experience in manufacturing environments highly valued.
• Computer proficiency with MS Word and Excel is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and develop Quality Inspectors and Technicians.
• Develop and maintain quality training programs and records.
• Oversee all quality inspection activities and verifications.
• Ensure records and reports meet ISO requirements and procedures.
• Support ISO 9001 system via internal audits and improvements.
• Lead investigations using root cause analysis and CAPA.
• Monitor quality metrics to reduce defects and scrap.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain.
• Audit processes and line setups for compliance.
• Support new product introductions and process improvements.
• Promote Lean, 6S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain cross-department relationships and timely quality updates.
• Maintain a safe work environment per policies and OSHA regs.
