Job summary

Hosokawa Micron Powder Systems is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead quality and process improvement across manufacturing operations. You will ensure products meet specifications, drive ISO 9001 compliance, and support ESG initiatives, while mentoring staff in quality standards.

The role focuses on reducing defects, improving workflow, and delivering accurate reports to leadership. Strong background in quality systems and continuous improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or manufacturing.
• 3+ years of reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• 3+ years of experience with inspections, audits, or root cause analysis.
• 3+ years of experience supporting production or process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality systems and ISO 9001 compliance, including audits of production processes and finished goods.
• Ensure products meet specifications; investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
• Train production staff in quality standards and procedures.
• Improve workflow efficiency by reducing rework, resolving bottlenecks, and supporting production timelines.
• Monitor performance metrics to drive quality, efficiency, and cost improvements.
• Generate reports and collaborate with engineering, production, and leadership to support operational and ESG initiatives.
