Job summary

Tempur Sealy is seeking an Engineer to apply analytic tools to improve foam quality and reduce variability in our production lines. The role supports quality technicians, participates in new product and process launches, and drives cost reductions in scrap and direct materials.

A Bachelor's in Engineering and 1–2 years' related experience are required; Green Belt is preferred or must be obtained in the first year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 1–2 years related experience.
• Green Belt preferred or able to obtain within first year.
• Strong problem-solving and data analysis with Lean basics.

Responsibilities

• Apply analytical tools to improve foam quality and reduce variation.
• Analyze scrap costs and lead scrap-cost reduction projects.
• Support Quality Technicians on production issues and improvement opportunities.
• Participate in new product/process development and Safe Launch plans.
• Track and drive improvement in supplier quality of direct materials.
• Conduct product inspections and audits for conformance.
