Gallagher Bassett is seeking an experienced claims leader to join our worker's compensation practice. Open to all jurisdictions with remote 100% work, the role focuses on auditing, process management, and delivering high‑quality client outcomes.

Competitive compensation up to $95,000 per year based on experience, with comprehensive benefits. You will lead claims handling efforts, mentor staff, and develop procedures that ensure compliance with client, broker, and carrier expectations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Worker's Compensation claims with lead experience.
• Experience with medical and indemnity claims.
• Knowledge of industry standards and practices.
• Proficient computer skills with claims software.

Responsibilities

• Offer exclusive customer care for worker's compensation claims.
• Audit client processes, monitor metrics, train staff.
• Develop processes to ensure client/broker/carrier compliance.
• Oversee resources, prepare reports and audits.
• Prepare executive and oversight reports; improve claim outcomes.

How You'll Make An Impact

• Dedicated to offering exclusive customer care services to meet needs of client base, specializing in worker's compensation claims.
• Engineer customized client audits, monitor performance metrics, provide technical training, and assist branches in meeting client expectations.
• Development of processes and procedures to ensure compliance with client, broker, and carrier expectations.
• Oversight of resources and direct reports, development of trend analysis, producing/delivering training, and conducting both internal and external audits.
• Additional duties may include preparation of executive reports, monthly oversight reports, and review and development of processes of branch handling to improve claim outcomes.

Ideal candidates for this position will have:

• Claims Background: 7-10 years experience working with Worker's Compensation claims-seeking medical AND indemnity experience
• Previous auditing experience
• Strong process management and direct leadership skills
• Ability to professionally interact with all levels of claims management

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Minimum of 7 years related Worker's Compensation claims experience. Must have claims handling experience and have formal Work Comp Lead experience. Captive experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices.
• Computer experience with related claims and business software.
