Job summary

The role drives peer review processes, data validation, and reporting to regulators, using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and developing executive dashboards for insight-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in nursing or related field.
• 5+ years in hospital quality or performance improvement.
• Expertise in peer review and regulatory compliance.
• Strong data analytics and performance-improvement knowledge.
• Master’s degree preferred; CPHQ or Six Sigma preferred.
• RN licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the hospital’s clinical quality program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Monitor and improve key hospital quality indicators such as mortality, readmissions, and patient safety outcomes.
• Partner with physician and nursing leadership to implement evidence-based care practices.
• Oversee quality data collection, validation, and reporting to regulatory agencies.
• Direct medical staff peer review processes.
• Lead performance improvement initiatives using methodologies such as PDSA, Lean, Six Sigma.
• Develop and present quality dashboards, scorecards, and insights to executive leadership.
• Collaborate with risk and patient safety teams to support a culture of transparency and safety.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership and drive organization-wide quality initiatives.
