Job summary

Starling Oncology is seeking a Quality & Patient Safety Improvement Specialist to drive evidence-based care across our network, focusing on improving outcomes, reducing risk, and building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

In collaboration with clinical quality teams, you will lead projects, audits, and education initiatives, travel to clinics up to 50% of the time, and track performance against quality measures to deliver measurable gains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, nursing, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in quality improvement, healthcare, or equivalent experience required.
• Lean/Six Sigma Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality improvement projects to close gaps in care and track preventive screenings.
• Implement quality and safety initiatives with stakeholders across multiple clinic sites.
• Review adverse event reports, perform root cause analysis, and revise protocols.
• Conduct routine site audits to ensure patient safety best practices.
• Develop education and training materials for nursing staff on safety and quality tools.
• Track quality measures and report progress to the Quality Manager.
