Job summary

Amcor LLC in Alsip, IL is seeking a packaging associate. You will remove finished product from machines, inspect for quality, and ensure packaging meets work orders. Read specifications, follow GMP practices, and document production in the system.

You'll support start-ups and changeovers, perform regular quality checks, and manage labeling and paperwork with accuracy and safety. This is a full-time hourly role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Read work orders for product specifications and packaging requirements.
• Inspect products for customer requirements and defects.
• Assist in start-up and change over of machinery or orders.
• Perform quality checks on all orders regularly.
• Enter production in JDE and print necessary paperwork, including closing out last skid.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders for packaging and special instructions.
• Inspect products for defects and ensure customer specs are met.
• Assist in machine start-up and changeovers.
• Perform quality checks throughout production.
• Label cartons and pallets and ensure correct identification sheets are used.
• Maintain GMP compliance and clean, organized work area.
