Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC is seeking a Packaging Production Operator to remove finished product from machines, inspect quality, and ensure packaging follows the production work order.

You will read orders, assist with start-up and changeovers, perform regular quality checks, and print required paperwork. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, manual dexterity, and adherence to GMPs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Read and follow work orders for product specs and packaging instructions.
• Inspect products for customer requirements and defects.
• Maintain manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and follow GMP guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Remove finished product from machines and ensure packaging meets specs.
• Inspect product quality and packaging per work order requirements.
• Assist in start-up and changeover of machinery or orders.
• Perform routine quality checks on all orders.
• Enter production data in the system and print necessary paperwork.
• Place customer labels on cartons or gaylords neatly and accurately.
• Follow GMPs and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Keep paperwork organized and separate from completed orders.
