Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of experience as an Inspector or Quality Technician preferred.
• Experience with server troubleshooting and repair.
• Must be capable of lifting 30 pounds and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Follow direction of Quality Engineers/Manager to investigate production quality issues.
• Recognize and identify different electronic components.
• Use common electronic tools in quality inspection and testing tasks.
• Support subassembly and final assembly operations.
• Test subassemblies and final assemblies for compliance.
• Ensure repair technicians follow established troubleshooting and repair procedures.
• Generate finished work under time constraints.
• Perform final inspections, prepare detailed quality inspection reports.
• Sort rejected/quarantined products and maintain repair line order.
• Verify repaired units meet appearance, functionality, and quality standards.

FII USA, Inc., a Foxconn Technology Group Company, is seeking a Quality Operator to support subassembly & final assembly operations and perform quality inspections. Once a part of the team, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks within the Quality department in a production environment and have the opportunity to display critical thinking skills to expand your career in Smart Manufacturing.
The Quality Operator will verify product quality standards, perform inspections, and assist the Quality Department as needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow the direction of the Quality Engineers/Manager to investigate production quality issues
• Recognize and identify different electronic components
• Use common electronic tools in quality inspection and testing tasks
• Support subassembly and final assembly operations
• Test subassemblies and final assemblies for compliance
• Ensure repair technicians follow established troubleshooting and repair procedures
• Generate finished work under time constraints
• Perform final inspections as needed, prepare detailed quality inspection reports
• Sort rejected/quarantined products and maintain proper repair line order
• Verify repaired units meet standards of appearance, functionality, and quality
• Use visual acuity to read prints and interpret codes or alphanumeric information
• Provide feedback to supervisors about observed trends or unusual failures
• Ensure production tools are properly calibrated and functioning correctly
• Other Duties as assigned
