Job summary

American Battery Solutions (ABS) is seeking a Manager of Quality to lead the plant's quality systems and drive process control, defect prevention, and launch readiness at the Springboro facility.

You will partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain to sustain high-quality manufacturing, lead a team of Quality Technicians, and ensure adherence to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering.
• 7+ years quality experience in manufacturing.
• 3+ years leadership managing quality personnel.
• Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing operations.
• Six Sigma green belt or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily quality support for manufacturing operations and nonconformances.
• Partner with Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain to meet objectives.
• Manage containment, MRB, and supplier quality issues.
• Lead quality reviews and communicate plant risks and priorities.
• Develop Quality Technicians and inspectors through coaching and training.
• Lead 8D/ DMAIC investigations and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
