Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a production-related discipline such as Manufacturing, Quality, Production Engineering, Supplier Management, and/or Supplier Quality.
• At least one year of leadership experience (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross-functional project/program management, or formal manager) OR completion of Boeing’s Exploring Leadership course.

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Multi-Family Manager at Kennedy Space Center, FL!

Position Responsibilities:

• Performs management activities across multiple (2 or more) Quality Management Job Families.
• Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.
• Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.
• Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements.
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports. Manages, develops and motivates employees.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Boeing First-Line Leader Assessment:

To be considered for this position you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process. Failure to complete the assessment will remove you from consideration.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Experience with AS9100 and/or a similar Quality Management System standard
• 1+ year of experience working with Non-Conformance (NCR) processes
• 3+ years of experience in a production-related discipline such as Manufacturing, Quality, Production Engineering, Supplier Management, and/or Supplier Quality
• Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross-functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership”

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience with Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) processes and implementing corrective actions
• Experience with surveillance and compliance audits

Safety Sensitive:

This is a NASA safety-sensitive position and is subject to random drug and alcohol testing.

Travel:

This position may require travel up to 5% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: USD $112,200 - $151,800
