Job summary

Masis Professional Group in West Haven, CT seeks a Quality Inspector to join a manufacturing team. You will layout and perform first piece inspections, participate in mechanical and receiving inspections, and prepare First Article Inspection Reports per AS9102.

The role requires at least 2 years in quality control, solid GD&T knowledge, experience with measuring tools such as bore gauges, micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators, plus strong attention to detail and analytical ability.

Qualifications

• 2 years or more work experience in quality control or related
• Solid understanding of GD&T
• Experience setting up and utilizing various measuring instruments such as bore gauges, micrometers, calipers and dial indicators
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, strong mathematical skills are necessary
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Bonus Qualifications: CMM experience is preferred
• Perform calibration and maintain records
• Knowledge of Quality Management System in an AS9100 environment
