Job summary

Meter seeks a hybrid Quality & Manufacturing Engineer to govern external manufacturing partners and align internal specs with vendor control plans. You will own quality baselines, dashboards, and FPY thresholds to drive zero-ambiguity quality expectations.

You will lead 8D reviews, establish robust CAPAs, and embed DFX principles into design reviews, ensuring on-time, high-quality product delivery across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• 5+ years navigating external manufacturing partners.
• Ability to translate internal R&D specs into robust Control Plans.
• Establish automated dashboards, FPY thresholds, and gating metrics.
• Drive data-driven governance to prevent quality escapes.

Responsibilities

• Own the Quality Baseline and dashboards for partner plants.
• Bridge the gap with manufacturing partners as the primary technical voice.
• Lead quality and 8D reviews with rigor and data-backed CAPAs.
• Embed manufacturing insights (DFX) into design reviews for scalable products.
• Travel to sites as needed to unblock lines and validate controls.
