Job summary

Rehrig Pacific Company is seeking a Director of Manufacturing to oversee the plant's quality system and performance, ensuring customer requirements are met and continuously improving metrics. You will lead a team of quality technicians, drive cross-functional collaboration, and coordinate with NQE and NPD teams to enforce standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in science or engineering preferred, not required.
• 5+ years of Quality Management/Control experience (ideally in manufacturing).
• Ability to manage a team of 6-10 quality techs.
• Direct experience with validation, problem solving, and risk tools and processes (examples: SPC, DMAIC, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, DOE, Flow Charting, Six Sigma).
• Develop and implement processes from ground up.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and departments.

Responsibilities

• Verify quality requirements are communicated, understood and achieved.
• Lead plant quality metrics and improve internal quality metrics year-over-year.
• Lead quality activities during New Product Introduction (NPI) and ensure compliance.
• Manage and develop the local quality team, training and development opportunities.
• Coordinate external certifications and ensure compliance with quality processes in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
