Job summary

Autocar, a leading severe-duty truck manufacturer, seeks a Quality Manager to elevate quality across manufacturing operations. You will lead QA/QC, drive continuous improvement, and partner with engineering, operations, and supply chain to deliver reliable trucks.

You will manage a team of quality professionals, implement CAPA, and ensure systems meet ISO 9001 and customer standards while fostering a strong quality culture on the plant floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of quality experience in manufacturing.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience with ISO 9001, IATF/TS16949 preferred.
• Familiarity with SPC, FMEA, Six Sigma, RCA, CAPA.

Responsibilities

• Lead all QA/QC activities across the plant.
• Drive RCA and implement CAPA actions.
• Establish inspection standards, testing procedures, and quality systems.
• Collaborate with design, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and reduce defects.
• Lead audits and ensure regulatory and customer standards compliance.
• Manage, coach, and develop quality engineers and inspectors.
• Oversee calibration systems and equipment reliability.
