Caterpillar Inc. in North Little Rock, AR, is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the Quality Inspection team and ensure safe, efficient inspection of Caterpillar Motor Graders and Medium Wheel Loaders.

The role drives continuous improvement for safety, quality, and efficiency on the shop floor. The successful candidate will manage training, operational metrics, and root-cause analysis, while maintaining Caterpillar’s quality standards and ISO 9001 initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in manufacturing, supply chain, or engineering.
• Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in a quality related role.
• Strong customer focus and ability to influence and lead hourly direct reports.
• Experience with SAP.
• Experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment.
• Ability to analyze and interpret data to make informed decisions.
• Accurately gauges the impact and cost of errors, omissions, and oversights.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality inspection processes on the shop floor.
• Ensure product quality and conformance to Caterpillar Quality Standards.
• Monitor and improve safety on the shop floor.
• Eliminate unsafe operations and maintain a safe environment.
• Plan staffing, workload, and meet completion dates.
• Drive root cause corrective action and continuous improvement.
• Manage 5S, Lean, ISO 9001 initiatives.
• Develop staff through training and feedback.
