Job summary

Silgan Containers is seeking a Quality Manager for our Breinigsville, PA facility. You will lead the plant's quality assurance and control activities, partner with production teams, and drive continuous improvement and SPC initiatives to ensure products meet customer and company standards.

You will oversee audits, manage customer quality concerns, and mentor staff. This hands‑on leadership role offers visibility across plant operations and a commitment to safety in a metal packaging environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering is a plus.
• 3+ years in quality control/assurance in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of SPC and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant QA/QC procedures, policies, records, and documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement and SPC programs.
• Provide quality leadership to hourly and salaried staff.
• Prepare facility for internal and external audits.
• Manage customer quality concerns and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production and leadership to improve quality across operations.
• Maintain quality inspection equipment and software like GainSeeker.
