Job summary

Qualifications

• Technical, associate's or bachelor’s degree in industrial-related field preferred.
• 7 years of industrial-related experience.
• 3 years of managerial experience.
• Knowledge of quality concepts, statistical analysis, risk management, and investigation techniques.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Statistical applications, ISO.

Responsibilities

• Lead the quality department and manage staff, including performance management and hiring.
• Collects and analyzes production samples to evaluate quality and provide feedback to production management.
• Monitors quality control systems to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
• Communicates quality control information to relevant departments, vendors, or contractors.
• Produces reports on nonconformance, daily production quality, root cause analyses, and quality trends.
• Reviews and updates standard operating procedures and business management systems.
• Direct product testing activities throughout production cycles.
• Instructs vendors or contractors on quality guidelines and testing procedures.
• Confers with marketing and sales to define client requirements and expectations.
