Job DescriptionJob Description

We are looking to fill a full time Quality Manager for a manufacturer located in the general area of Foster City, MI located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan next to the Wisconsin border.

Salary Range: $110k to $130k per year. Plus full relocation is available.

Must Haves:

· Degree is NOT required

· Foundry experience is NOT required

· Must have a Quality Manager/Supervisor background to include automotive or machining experience

· Experience with IATF 16949 is required

Are you an experienced Quality professional ready to make a real difference? We're looking for a Quality Manager who thrives on the production floor and leads with a hands-on approach. In this role, you will ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards while championing continuous improvement and excellence across our operations.

As the Quality Manager, you will develop and execute impactful quality programs and lead a high-performing team to ensure product integrity, customer satisfaction, and supplier quality performance. You’ll be instrumental in driving results through Kaizen activities, data-driven decision-making, and a strong presence in daily operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, train, and coach the quality team to ensure excellence in production and process compliance.
  • Enforce quality standards across operations, including inspections, audits, and product reviews.
  • Resolve issues related to product standards and ambiguous specifications with clarity and precision.
  • Analyze and report quality data to identify trends and develop improvement strategies.
  • Manage all product and process audits, including corrective and preventive action systems.
  • Guide cross-functional teams to implement process improvements using disciplined problem-solving.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to uphold quality expectations and performance.
  • Build and support a talented quality team with clear goals, timely feedback, and ongoing development.
