Job summary

Yates Construction is seeking a Quality Assurance/Quality Control leader to oversee all daily quality operations on our projects. You will develop and administer quality policies, work with project managers and subs, and ensure 100% compliance with contract drawings and standards.

You will train teams, issue NCRs, and coordinate with engineers and inspectors to drive continuous improvement and risk reduction in a dynamic construction environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of construction experience as a part of a quality control supervision.
• Minimum of seven (7) years industrial and/or commercial construction experience.
• Experience with large/complex quality plan implementation.
• In-depth knowledge of the Construction Standards and Best Practices.
• Working knowledge of the International Building Code Knowledge and experience of diverse project type.

Responsibilities

• Develops and administers quality related policies, procedures and initiatives to ensure adherence on the project.
• Coordinates with project manager, superintendents, and subcontractors to implement a 100% compliant quality plan.
• Read and interpret contract drawings and specifications to ensure conformance.
• Champions safety and quality during daily field activities and meetings.
• Leads QC/QA processes, prepares and documents NCRs, and closes deficiencies in a timely manner.
• Provides training and coaching on quality processes to project teams.
