Job summary

Byrne Cortlandville plant seeks a Quality Manager to drive quality programs across ESL dairy manufacturing. You will lead ESL and aseptic QA teams, coordinate training, CAPAs, and regulatory interactions with agencies. Strong emphasis on GMP, HACCP, and continuous improvement.

The role oversees product release, data trending, and site compliance, with the aim of ensuring customer satisfaction and regulatory adherence while developing staff and maintaining high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; bachelor’s in biology, chemistry, dairy or related field preferred.
• Minimum of three years dairy or aseptic beverage experience required.
• Two to three years managing laboratory operations and staff preferred.
• Two years supervisory experience preferred.
• SQF or similar quality systems experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for ESL and Aseptic Quality Assurance teams, including goal setting and coaching.
• Develop IDPs and coordinate onboarding, training, and proficiency refreshers.
• Ensure coverage during planned/unplanned absences and act as backup when needed.
• Support site leadership and cross-functional coordination on quality initiatives.
• Review data to ensure conformance and drive CAPAs as needed.
• Review products and assess eligibility for release per policy.
• Maintain compliance with SQF and quality procedures; apply 5S in quality areas.
