Qualifications

• CPA license is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; master's preferred.
• 7+ years of audit experience in public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of audit methodology and documentation.
• Experience with Government Auditing Standards and Single Audits strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; detail-oriented.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines; collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Perform Engagement Quality Reviews for assurance engagements, with emphasis on Government Auditing Standards including HUD, USDA-RD, and Single Audits.
• Research complex accounting and auditing matters and provide clear, practical guidance to assurance professionals.
• Monitor new accounting and auditing standards and help determine how changes should be implemented across the firm.
• Support the firm's ongoing compliance with GAGAS/Yellow Book requirements.
• Serve as a Qualified Reviewer or Assurance Manager on client engagements as needed and as capacity allows.
• Help plan and maintain Quality Management Policies and Procedures (QMPP) and internal inspections.
